Build Mode lets you place walls, floors, furniture, and decor from scratch. Grab a pre-built shell and modify it until it works for you. Three rooms you'll actually use: a pet display room (show off your best pets), a storage room (spares and duplicates), and a trading lounge (clear space for negotiations). Save your blueprints — you can share them with friends later.
A good house doubles as a social space. If you host trades or hangouts, set up a clear entrance area where guests arrive, a visible pet display so visitors can see what you've got without asking, and a private room for serious trades. Good lighting and open layouts make your house feel welcoming — people stick around longer.
You don't need an expensive house to make it work. Budget builds with free and cheap furniture are totally fine. Spend your Bucks on eggs first, buy premium furniture after your pet collection is solid. If you really like decorating, set aside a separate "decor fund" so you're not choosing between a new egg and a couch.
