Adopt Me Pet Values Guide
Knowing what your pets are worth is the single most important trading skill. Values shift constantly with new events, retirements, and changes in demand — a pet that trades high today can slide next season. Here's what actually moves the needle.
Rarity Tiers at a Glance
- Common — starter pets, barely any trade value (Cat, Dog, Otter, Buffalo)
- Uncommon — a step up, easy to trade in bulk (Fennec Fox, Snow Cat, Chocolate Labrador)
- Rare — medium value, common trade bait (Koala, Emu, Bunny, Snowman)
- Ultra-Rare — high value, people actually ask for these (Horse, Ginger Cat, Sloth, Flamingo)
- Legendary — top of the market (Shadow Dragon, Frost Dragon, Giraffe, Bat Dragon)
What Actually Drives Value
Rarity is just the starting point. Four things push a pet above or below its tier line:
- Age — a Full-Grown pet trades higher than a Newborn. Players pay a premium to skip the age-up grind
- Neon & Mega Neon — fuse four into a Neon, sixteen into a Mega. The value multiplies way past the parts
- Demand — a high-demand ultra-rare can out-trade a low-demand legendary. Watch what people are actually asking for
- Limited / retired — pets from old events that can't be obtained anymore. Supply's capped, value holds
Reading the Market Day to Day
Before any trade, check recent completed trades and active offers for the same pet. Value sites and trading Discords give you a ballpark, but the live offer in front of you is the real price. If multiple people want your pet, you've got leverage — ask for a small overpay. If you're the one chasing a pet, expect to bring something desirable, not a lowball.
Keeping Trades Fair
- Unlock the trading license before you negotiate — it protects both sides
- Trade equal for equal. "Winning" a trade usually means the other side got scammed
- Match age and Neon status on both sides or adjust the count
- Be patient — the right offer shows up. A rushed trade is a bad trade
Scams to Watch For
Never "trust trade" outside the official system, never send a pet "first to prove good faith," and screenshot every offer. If a deal looks too good — a legendary for a common — it's a bait-and-switch. Use only the in-game trade window so both sides confirm before anything moves.
